When visiting Mr. C Hotels, you play a critical role in following and being aware of our commitment to:
The Safety and Well-Being of our Guests & Associates which involves following three simple steps: Prevention. Cleanliness. Reducing Contact.
We are closely monitoring government policy changes, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, government mandates, and public health advancements and will continue to make changes as necessary or appropriate to our protocols and procedures.
Your safety and wellbeing is of utmost importance to us and we wish to provide assurances at each point of your hotel experience with us that we are taking all the necessary precautions and measures to ensure excellence and safety throughout your stay.
PREVENTION
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Associates will wear appropriate PPE including but not limited to masks & gloves (where applicable) for safety and prevention
- Guests will also be required to wear face coverings whilst on property
Temperature Checks
- As an additional precaution all associates & guests will have temperatures taken daily with infrared, touchless thermometers
Protective Screens & Protocols
- Shield protectors have been added to applicable areas including front desk stations, reception desks, host stands and retail outlets
- Entry doors will be automated or propped open to reduce contact with door handles
Social Distancing
- Associates & Guests will follow and exercise social distancing policies and procedures
- Additional signage across the hotels will remind guests and associates of practicing social distancing
- Common areas have been re-arranged to follow adequate social distancing practices
- Restaurants and bars seating have also been re-arranged to follow social distancing guidelines and an overall reduction in capacity. We are maximizing outdoor seating options as an alternative option to patrons.
CLEANLINESS
Disinfecting & Sanitation Technology
- Antimicrobial sanitizing & UV lighting will be used in all guest rooms, common areas including elevators, meeting areas, pool, bathrooms, retail, spa and food & beverage outlets
- UV light cleaning technology will be used to sanitize all room keys, key card packets, credit cards, restaurant tables and utensils.
Hand Sanitizer Dispensers
- Hand sanitizer dispensers have been added around the hotel (indoor & outdoor) and the back of house (touchless where available), at convenient locations for both associates and guests.
Sanitizing Wipes in All Guest Rooms
- All guest rooms will provide individual packet(s) of sanitizing wipes as an additional amenity
Housekeeping Services
- Housekeeping services will only be provided upon request, room must be vacant; additional towels and amenities are also available upon request
- Consistent with our protocols for less touch points, there will be no nightly turndown service provide or minibar service.
- Guest rooms will remain vacant for 24 hours (whenever possible).
Heightened Cleaning Protocols
- Additional guest room sanitation and cleaning procedures are also being applied to cleanliness guidelines
- Upon request towels and amenities will be provided in pre-packaged sealed, sterile containers for your assurance.
- Hotel have increased the frequency of cleaning public areas including but not limited to high traffic and touch areas
- All employees will be required to hand wash at least every 60 mins for 20 seconds.
REDUCING CONTACT
Guest Rooms
- All single use items have been removed from guest rooms including but not limited to decorative pillows, magazines, compendiums, pens, paper, etc.
- Glassware has been replaced with disposable & sealed paper cups
- Mini bar items will be removed or in some properties restocked only upon request
- Turndown service will not be offered
Food & Beverage
- Hotels may offer food & beverage options solely as “to-go” style in some properties
- In-room dining will be served “to-go” style, in some cases using disposable serve ware and delivered to the guestroom door or available for pick-up, guests will need to place consumed items outside the guest room door and call for pickup.
- Where possible menus will be displayed on guest-room TV’s along with website and utilization of a QR code.
- Disposable menus for all outlets and in-room dining will be available
Touchless Dispensers – Soap and Paper Towels in Restrooms
- Touchless dispensers for hand sanitizers will be accessible in all public and team member restrooms
Additional Guidelines Include
- Spa services may not be offered and/or limited based on local governance
- Group fitness classes may not be offered and/or limited based on local governance
- Gym will have a reduction in equipment and in some properties may be available on an appointment only basis.
- Shoe shine service will be discontinued
